South Street Closure (between, Barrington and Hollis streets) – Crane removal

Thursday, April 27, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that a temporary road closure will take place on South Street between Barrington and Hollis Streets on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.

Crews will be on-site from 7am to 9pm. During this work, there will be a full closure for this block. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians and cyclists around the worksite.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.  The street will be accessible to local traffic and emergency crews at all times.

The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
