Walking to Fight Arthritis

On Sunday, May 30, I am participating in Walk to Fight Arthritis.  I am walking and raising pledges to support the millions of Canadians who are living with the pain and disability caused by arthritis.

This is something that affects me personally for a few reasons.  I suffer daily from arthritis pain and so does my mother (both of us being in severe car accidents) and so do all of my grandparents.  It’s something that is not fun to deal with and if I can raise a few hundred dollars to help my mother and millions of others get a cured of this and not have to deal with this type of pain every day, I’m going to try and do my part.

Over the past 60 years, The Arthritis Society has contributed $165 million to arthritis research and has supported millions of people living with the disease. Funds raised from events like the Walk to Fight Arthritis will allow The Arthritis Society to continue the important work that they do. Their goal is to improve the treatment and management of arthritis pain and, ultimately, to find a cure for the disease.

My goal is to raise at least $500.00 but I can’t do it without your help.  Please consider pledging me and supporting this important cause.

Secure online donations can be made with your credit card and an electronic tax receipt will be sent to you by email. Just click on the link below and it will take you to my personal fundraising page where you can pledge me.
