So as you all know, I’m growing a mustache for the month of November from here on known as Movember.

What is “Movember”? (incase you don’t know)

Movember is the month formerly known as November where men start clean shaven and commit to growing a Moustache. That’s right, we are bringing back the Moustache this November to raise funds and awareness for men’s health – specifically Prostate Cancer.

We’re officially on week two of Movember and this bad boy is starting to coming in nicely! And by nicely I mean it looks pretty gross and sleezy but it’s for a good cause and I’m actually starting to enjoy it!!

I’d like to thank everyone who has donated so far and I’d ask for everyone else to donate as well. I’ve created a Facebook Fan Page (www.facebook.com/scottmovember) and there are 100 people who are “fans” of what I’m doing and if everyone donates at least $10, that’s $1,000 raised towards Prostate Cancer Research, so please donate!

Also, there is a Gala Party on November 26th which starts at 8:00pm at the Waterfront Warehouse. Mo Bros (dressed to suit their Mo) and Mo Sistas (dressed to suit their Mo Bro) come together for one night to show off their moustache growing efforts, celebrate the Mo and compete for a number of title accolades – including Best Mo in Character, Miss Movember and, of course, Man of Movember 2009.
