Special Weather Statement For Monday December 10 2012

From Environment Canada:
A low pressure system over the Great Lakes will affect Nova Scotia
today.
A warm front associated with this system will cross the Bay
of Fundy this afternoon with precipitation beginning early this
morning in the west then spreading eastward.  Snow will change
through ice pellets to rain from west to east as the warm front moves
through.  There is a risk of freezing rain as well.  In general 2 to
5 centimetres of snow are expected.
Locally higher rainfall amounts of up to 40 millimetres are forecast
for areas along the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia from Halifax to
Yarmouth.
Please monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment
Canada at www.weatheroffice.gc.ca
