Thursday, July 7, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that manhole repair work will begin Sunday on Spring Garden Road, between Grafton and Brunswick streets.
The work is expected to be complete by Thursday, July 14. During this time traffic will be maintained in both directions, however due to cement barriers being in place to protect workers in the middle of the street, lane widths will be reduced and on-street parking will not be available.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Pedestrians will not be affected.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
