Tuesday, July 21, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that saw-cutting will take place tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22), on sections of Spring Garden Road and Brunswick Street.

The work on Spring Garden Road will take place between Brunswick and Grafton streets.

The work on Brunswick Street will take place between Doyle Street and Spring Garden Road. This work is part of an upcoming natural gas main extension in the area.

One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on both streets between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. No work will take place between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.  After 6 p.m. stop-and-go traffic will be in place. 

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

An updated announcement will be issued prior to the beginning of the pipe installation work, which is expected to take place next week.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work might cause.
