Wednesday, July 9, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Springfield Beach on Springfield Lake in Middle Sackville has reopened for swimming.
Tests earlier this week showed high bacteria levels at the beach, but tests done today show that the water is once again safe, as per Health Canada guidelines.
