Spryfield bank robbery

Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred earlier this afternoon in Halifax.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the RBC Royal Bank branch at 339 Herring Cove Road. A woman approached the teller and demanded money. She fled the bank with a quantity of cash.

The suspect is described as a white woman in her 30s, wearing a grey winter hat and a black mask and carrying a green backpack.
