‘Soup’s On Again’ is based on the pilot project “Soup’s On” offered to the Spryfield community in 2013/2014. The project offers nutritious and homemade soup and sandwiches on a weekly basis during the colder months of the year. Last year during the pilot project two facilitators were hired who were in receipt of Social Assistance to become trained in food handling and First Aid/CPR. The two facilitators planned, shopped, cooked and served the meal for the project and reported to a community steering committee. We are looking for two such people again this year. For more information, or to apply, contact khollery_stpaulsfri@hotmail.com.
