Spryfield Lions Rink and Recreation Centre closes for renovations

As part of the municipality’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving the state of good repair in our many recreational facilities, $950,000 is being invested this year in renovations to the Spryfield Lions Rink and Recreation Centre.

Updates to the facility include steel reinforcement of the roof, as well as replacement of the lighting in the gym and rink.

This work is currently underway and will result in the complete closure of the rink until the end of August. The gym will remain closed until the end of September.

The municipality is working with the Spryfield Lions Rink and Recreation Centre board of directors to find alternative programming and facilities for its users over the next five months while the renovations are completed.
