Stabbing in Cole Harbour

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District are investigating a stabbing which took place in Cole Harbour early this morning.

RCMP were called to the corner of Forest Hills Drive and Circassion Drive at 1:20 A.M. where a 17-year-old male was suffering from a stab wound to the groin/leg area.  EHS attended and transported the youth to the QE2 hospital with what was believed to be non life threatening injuries.  Two individuals who came upon the victim and were assisting with first aid before police arrived, advised they believe the stabbing may have taken place at Settle Lake area.
