Stabbing in North Street area

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred tonight in Halifax.

At approximately 5 p.m. officers responded to a report of an injured person in the 6000 block of North Street in Halifax. Officers located a man suffering from what are believed to be non-life-threatening stab wounds. He was transported to hospital for treatment.

The investigation is in the early stages and further information will be provided when it becomes available.
