Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred yesterday morning in Halifax.
At approximately 5 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report that a man had been stabbed in the 400 block of Herring Cove Road in Halifax. Officers located a 38-year-old victim inside a residence suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital for treatment.
The matter is currently under investigation, and it is not believed to be a random incident.
Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 902-490-5020.
