HRPD Release:
The victim of a stabbing in Fairview last month has died.
On February 23 at 9:08 p.m., police responded to an apartment building
on Titus Street and located a 55-year-old man suffering from multiple
stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remained until he passed
away this afternoon.
The investigation by officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated
Criminal Investigation Division, assisted by West Patrol Officers, led
to a man being arrested without incident at a residence on Mandaville
Court at 11:55 p.m. on February 23.
Forty-five-year-old Arnold Albert Green of Halifax was scheduled to
appear in court on February 24 to face charges of attempted murder,
uttering threats, robbery and possession of a weapon for a dangerous
purpose. An autopsy will be conducted and once that is complete
