Starting Nov. 21, street cleaners will be collecting fallen leaves from heavily-treed areas of the Halifax Peninsula, and the urban core as required. This annual program aims to prevent potential on-street flooding and helps to keep our streets safe as we move into the winter months.
Temporary ‘No Parking’ signs will be posted in advance. Residents are asked to assist our clean-up efforts by not parking on-street during this work. View the weekly work schedule to see where collection will be occurring.
With your help, we can get the streets cleared and ready for winter.
