Ugh! This post is going to have to be short and sweet because I just got the blue screen of death and lost most of my first post. Silly computers.
This morning I felt like pancakes. Jazzed them up a little by making them with mashed bananas in the batter and topped with a generous dollop of Liberté Méditerrannée Strawberry yogurt and some fresh berries.
I will never go back to making pancakes from scratch. This PC Organics Pancake mix always works like a charm. I used 2/3 of the mix that it called for and modified it as usual by only using an egg white, UVAB and a small drop of canola oil.
Topped with some of my Dad’s fresh maple syrup. Mmm mmm, it’s delicious Dad!! Obviously there was a good cup of coffee involved as well. 😉 I am stuffed and ready to take on “Friday!”
Yes, it’s the last day of work before the long weekend. Whooohooo!! Looks like another dreary, wet day here in Nova Scotia. I’m hoping it clears up enough so that I can get out for a quick 4K after work.
Plans for tonight include all this related to painting:
- taping galore
- removing all light switch/plug plates
- taking down all wall decorations
- wiping down the walls
- removing wall paper
- patching holes
- moving furniture
Shirls just did a post with tons of great painting tips. Thanks girl!! I’m really looking forward to getting this all done and having a house that looks half-decent.
