Street closures – Queen Street and Clyde Street

Thursday, July 25, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Beginning Monday, July 29, Queen Street will be closed between Morris Street and Spring Garden Road to accommodate ongoing street renewal work in the area surrounding the new Central Library.

Thursday, July 25, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Beginning Monday, July 29, Queen Street will be closed between Morris Street and Spring Garden Road to accommodate ongoing street renewal work in the area surrounding the new Central Library.

This section of Queen Street is expected to be closed until Friday, August 2. Additional notices will be issued if the closure must be extended to complete the required work.

The existing street closure on Clyde Street from Queen Street to Birmingham Street will also remain in place until August 2.

Motorists should expect delays and are requested to find alternate routes. HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
