Friday, October 4, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Due to the large number of people expected at and near the Emera Oval for Sunday’s CIBC Run for the Cure, there will be street closures and parking restrictions.

In order to safely hold this event, Cogswell Street between Robie and North Park streets will be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 6.

Also, Trollope Street will be closed to traffic for the duration of the run, from approximately 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Parking restrictions will be in place along Cogswell and Trollope streets in order to facilitate a safe event.

Drivers are advised to use caution during the event, as the 5-kilometre run will be using streets in the vicinity.
