1, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the two-week installation of a natural gas pipeline on Alderney Drive in Dartmouth is tentatively scheduled to begin on Thursday, Oct. 2.
The installation will affect Alderney Drive from Ochterloney Street to North Street. Restoration will follow the project as it progresses.
There will be no on-street work during the hours of 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Crews will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction while work is going on, Monday to Friday. However, motorists should still expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes, if possible.
Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
