Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a block of Market Street in Halifax will be closed for about a two-week period starting Tuesday, Sept. 2.

The street will be closed to traffic and pedestrians between Sackville and Prince streets to facilitate the installation and operation of a construction crane. The closure goes into effect at 7 a.m. Tuesday and will remain in place until about 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14.

There will be no parking on that block of Market Street while it’s closed. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
