Structure destroyed in early morning fire, police ask for public help investigating

RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigative Section is seeking information from the public in relation to a suspicious fire that occurred in Cole Harbour. 

On November 17, at approximately 4:18 a.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, EHS and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency (HRFE), responded to a structure fire in the 500 block of Caldwell Rd.  Upon arrival, an unoccupied wooden structure was engulfed in flames. 

Caldwell Rd. near Andrew Ave. was closed for a short time to allow HRFE to extinguish the fire which did not spread to nearby structures. 

A Fire Investigator is currently on scene.
