Structure fire under investigation, Lunenburg, N.S.

Lunenburg RCMP are currently on scene assisting with traffic control at a fire located at the Scotia Trawler Building on Montague Street in Lunenburg.

At approximately 7:21 p.m., an emergency call came in to the Provincial 911 Call centre reporting the structure fire.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found the building was completely engulfed in flames. Lunenburg Fire Services assisted by numerous other fire departments from the area are currently on scene. There are no reported injuries at this time.

The RCMP is asking the public to please stay clear of active firefighting equipment and keep any unnecessary traffic off of Montague Street in the event more fire resources are needed.
