Scott Manor House will be holding its 4th annual Student Art Exhibition from June 24 to July 4, 2010.
The exhibition is open to all artists from primary to grade 12 in the HRM.
It is an opportunity for young artists to have their work displayed in a professional manner and for visitors to see the wealth of talent, as well as promote the heritage of the Scott Manor House.
An opening reception with refreshments will be provided on June 24 from 6-8 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
Entrance Requirements:
-all work is to be signed and framed with wire ready to be hung for display.
-be a new work that has been completed in the past 12 months.
-be a painting or drawing of a suitable subject matter for a students exhibition.
-have labels on back of work with names, telephone number, and title of work.
All work is to be dropped off at the Scott Manor House the week of June 12-19.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
All artwork is to be picked up during the week of July 5-July 10.
There is no charge to enter but donations are welcome. To assist with organization, please complete a form and return it to the Bedford Public Library or Frame Plus Art Sunnyside Mall no later than May 31.
