Summer registration ongoing

Summer registration begins today for child and youth programs. This does not include aquatics.

Registration begins at 10 a.m.

Why not enroll your child in one of the many summer camps offered throughout the summer?

“X” Marks the Spot, Bike and Hike, or Drama are just some of the exciting and fun camps available.

Or maybe you want to enroll your youth in a Tennis Camp or a Red Cross Babysitting Course right here in Bedford?

Different ways to register:

1) Visit www.halifax.ca/rec

What you need:

-An internet connection
-A RecConnect client number and RecConnect family PIN
-Course codes for 1st choice and alternates
-A valid credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express) and expiry date

2) Phone: 490-6666

What you need:

-Home Phone #
-Course codes for 1st choice and alternates
-A valid credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express) and expiry date

3) Rec Centres

What you need:

-Cash, cheque, debit card or a valid credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express) and expiry date

What can you do to speed up your registration process?

1) Make sure your account is set up for online registration.
2) Remember to have your credit card and course code ready!
3) Browse through the catalogue and make any program inquiries prior to the start of registration for each season.

Popular programs fill quickly through online and phone registration methods. If a person being registered has a disability and/or requires support, please call your local community centre to set a meeting to determine program supports. Meeting to be arranged at least two weeks prior to the start date of the programs.

Registration for child and youth programs begins March 24 (excluding aquatics).

Registration for all aquatics programs begins June 14.
