Halifax Regional Police is investigating three robberies that occurred in the Halifax region over the weekend.
On July 22 at approximately 8 a.m. officers responded to a robbery at the Irving gas station located at 612 Windmill Road in Dartmouth. A man entered the store, produced a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes from the clerk. The suspect fled the area on foot with an amount of cash and cigarettes. The clerk was not physically injured.
On July 22 at approximately 6:55 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at the Irving gas station located at 503 Old Sambro Road in Halifax. A man entered the store, produced a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes from the clerk. The suspect then fled empty-handed in a light green vehicle driven by a woman. The clerk was not physically injured.
A short time later at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at Danielson’s General Store located at 5 Dentith Road in Halifax. A man approached the clerk, produced a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect fled the area with a quantity of cigarettes. The clerk was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties or thirties, approximately 5’8” tall, scruffy facial hair with a tattoo on the left side of his face below his eye. He was wearing a black hoody and jeans.
