Suspects arrested after B&E in Fall River early this morning

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District
responded to a break and enter in progress this morning at 2:50 A.M. to
a residence on Howard Lane.

At 2:50 A.M. this morning a male home owner was sleeping in his living
room when he heard the sounds of clinking bottles.  He then observed
four  suspects flee the house and called RCMP with a description of the
suspect vehicle.  A short time later, RCMP officers in the area observed
the suspect*s vehicle pulling out from behind a business at the corner
of Cobequid Road and Windsor Junction Road.   RCMP officers arrested one
adult male(18), one adult female(18) and two youth males(17).  A search
of the vehicle recovered a large quantity of stolen property such as
golf clubs, a large quantity of liquor, iPODs, a DVD player and other
items.  These items maybe from another break and enter, or theft from
vehicles in the Fall River Village area.  RCMP also seized bear spray, a
pellet pistol, brass knuckles and a large knife from the suspects.

All four suspects are still in police custody and the investigation is
continuing.  RCMP are asking the public to contact Lower Sackville
office of the RCMP if they discover their vehicle was broken into
overnight in the Fall River Village area.
