Switchstreet set to take over downtown Dartmouth

It’s that time again!!!!! Downtown Dartmouth’s biggest street party of the year is a few days away! It’s the day when more than 2 km of streets get closed to traffic and switched open for people! This event and its celebration of active transportation, makes it the perfect kickoff to this years Halifax Bike Week!

Thousands will take over Portland Street and Prince Albert Road from Alderney Landing to Sullivan’s Pond Park. We’re programming music stages on the route, plus we’re inviting back Atlantic Cirque to give live demos and opportunities to try out the trapeze, silks, etc. There will be food trucks, community groups, roving entertainers, demos, bouncy castles, sports, surprises and much more along the route.
