Targeted street restrictions in peninsular Halifax

The Halifax Regional Municipality is imposing targeted street restrictions in peninsular Halifax over the coming days.

The restrictions range from street closures to parking bans. Refer to the information below for specific details.

The restrictions are necessary to facilitate tree removal operations in the area.

The restrictions affect the following streets:

Prohibited parking signage will be in place where necessary and vehicles will be towed if they are impeding the work of tree-removal crews.

Traffic control personnel will be on site wherever necessary.

This work will begin on Thursday, Sept. 12 and will continue until the work is completed.

The municipality apologizes for the short notice and any inconvenience this work may cause.
