Teens rescued from Bayers Lake trails

On Oct. 10 at 8:15 PM the Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of 209 Chain Lake Drive in Halifax in response to an emergency cell phone call from two teenagers who had become lost on the walking trails located in this area. Several police units and K9 deployed into the vicinity. The members used a combination of GPS, lights, sirens, voicing out and K9 to locate the young men who had spent approx. 1 and 1/2 hours waiting for rescue. Both boys were turned over to their waiting parents safe and sound.
