Temporary closure of Sunrise Beach Off-Leash area at Shubie Park

Friday, May 27, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and visitors that the Sunrise Beach off-leash area at Shubie Park in Dartmouth, will be closed temporarily for a few days next week. The off-leash area closure will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 30, and continue until the end of day Wednesday, June 1. The temporary closure is required to facilitate ground restoration work on-site. Please note other off-leash areas within Shubie Park will not be affected by this work. It’s anticipated the Sunrise Beach off-leash area will re-open for regular use on Thursday, June 2. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause. Source: Release
