On Monday, May 9, work will continue to replace aging water mains on South Park St. and University Ave.

As a result, drivers heading south on South Park St. toward the QEII’s Victoria General (VG) site parking lot will be required to follow a detour route around the construction to access the parking lot entrance (detour map to be shared in future update).

The University Ave (Dickson) parking lot entrance will not be affected by the water main project, but increased traffic congestion in the area is expected. Patients and caregivers are asked to allow extra time when visiting the VG for appointments during this time.
