Temporary Road Closures – Cole Harbour Harvest Festival Parade

Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there will be temporary road closures and minor traffic delays midday on Saturday, Sept. 6, as the Cole Harbour Harvest Festival parade makes its way through the community.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will travel west on Colby Drive, north on Cumberland Drive, north on Forest Hills Drive past Cole Harbour Place and east onto Auburn Drive, where the floats and participants will disperse. The event is expected to be done by about noon.

The affected streets will be temporarily closed to traffic and will gradually reopen as the parade moves through the route. There will be RCMP escorts on site to accompany the parade participants and assist with traffic.
