This week’s episode of The Amazing Race took place in the area of Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy – a destination I’m now tempted to add to my itinerary for a trip I’m planning to Italy this October However, I don’t think I’ll be doing any donkey-riding or calligraphy-writing while I’m there.
Flight Time and Big Easy had a rough go of things this leg, starting in last place and remaining there. They had trouble with both Detour options, and kept their heads high through the Roadblock even though they knew they were in last place. I was sorry to see them eliminated, even though they were never really leading the pack this season.
Brendan and Rachel came in first this leg, and U-Turned David and Connor along the way. That didn’t go over well. I don’t love Brenchel, but come on… U-Turns are part of the game. Get over it.
At this point, I think I might be rooting for the Afghanimals – shocking, since I quite disliked them on their first season. But I like their energy and positivity, and I’ve tired of David and Connor always dragging the blonds along. Who are you guys rooting for?
