St. Paul’s Family Resources Institute on Old Sambro Road is having its annual fundraising Tea Party once again on August 14th. The party goes from 4-6pm, and costs $10. In return, you get a garden party (weather permitting) with sandwiches, nibbles, and fancy tea cups. In case you’re thinking you won’t be able to fill up on dainty cucumber sandwiches, I’m told there’s always enough to eat that they consider it a “supper” rather than a tea. Wear your heels and fancy dresses. Fundraising money goes to support programs at St. Paul’s, which include a food bank, children’s day camp programs, garden plots for families without a green space of their own, and more.
