During this time, Angus L. Macdonald Bridge will remain open as usual, with normal weight restrictions in place. With the exception of passenger buses, vehicles weighing more than 3,200 kilograms are not permitted to cross Macdonald Bridge. Strict enforcement will be in effect throughout the closure.

Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to:

Use public transportation where possible or make use of the cycling and pedestrian lanes at Macdonald Bridge.

Halifax Harbour Bridges thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as we complete work essential to the safety and reliability of the MacKay Bridge.
