The SPCA Wants Dog Fighting Banned

The society presented its case to the Nova Scotia legislature’s law amendments committee for an outright ban on dog fighting in Halifax.

The society says their top priority is an outright ban on dogfighting. Representative Sean Kelly says if Michael Vick and his dogfighting ring had come to Nova Scotia, he would not have faced prosecution, because the province has no laws against it.”
