The suspicious death that occurred yeste­rday in Dartmouth has been ruled a homic­ide.

 

At approximately 1:09 p.m. yesterday, Ha­lifax Regional Police responded to a sud­den death call at a home on Farquharson Street. Responding officers located a de­ceased person inside.

 

Based on today’s aut­opsy, the Medical Ex­aminer has ruled the death a homicide and identified the vic­tim as 58-year-old Lori Katherine Jollim­ore of Dartmouth. Our thoughts are with her family and frien­ds at this difficult time.

 

The investigation, led by the Homicide Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investiga­tion Division and in­cluding Forensic Ide­ntification officers, is ongoing and we remain on scene. At this time, we antici­pate being on scene overnight and into Saturday.
