Remember Cee Lo’s sidekick from The Voice this season, Purrfect the Cat?

Well, Cee Lo’s buddy (who was rented to begin with) has been kicked to the curb in favor of a new friend – Lady the Cockatoo.

This can only mean one thing. That, like me, Cee Lo was a fan ofZoobilee Zoo.

These people are terrifying. I can’t believe I was obsessed with them as a child.

The one on the left is Talkatoo Cockatoo, but Cee Lo’s bird actually reminds me more of Whazzat Kangaroo. The Kangaroo was my best friend from ages two through four, and then I became so enchanted with the TV show/imaginary world I had created for myself that she actually lied and told me it had been taken off the air. Later in life, I came to believe that she’d lied to prevent me from waking up at 5:00 a.m. to watch the show. I was wrong, it was because she was worried about the mental stability of a child who only interacted with hallucinated TV show characters.

I’m pretty sure that story can be used to explain absolutely anything about my personality.
