Two Charged After Property Stolen From Vehicle

At 11:40 PM West Division HRP officers responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle complaint in the 0-100 Block of Keating Rd in Halifax.

Upon arrival police were informed that two suspects were involved and that they had fled the area after being confronted by the owner of the vehicle. Containment was set up in the area and two suspects were quickly located and detained by police, K9 had been called in and conducted a successful track to the suspects from the location of the offense. Property stolen from the vehicle was recovered from the suspects.

An 18 year old male and a 22 year old male from the Halifax area have been charged with theft from motor vehicle. They have been released and will be appearing in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
