Theft of boat investigated

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an inflatable boat that was stolen earlier this week in Halifax.

On August 17 officers responded to a report of a theft of an inflatable boat from a private dock at a residence on Marlborough Woods. The boat, which had been in the water, was stolen sometime during the overnight hours.

The boat is described as a black and white, 14-foot, inflatable Zodiac Bayrunner 420 with a 40-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident or the location of the boat to call police at 902-490-5020.
