Thieves jump out of moving car stolen for the second time

  From HRPD:   At approximately 240 am, November 16th,  police received a 911 call from a residence on Joffre Street in Dartmouth. The complainant stated that her vehicle was in the process of being stolen. It was learned that the complainant was victimized earlier in the week  (November 14th) when her residence was broken into  and the same vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was recovered by police on November 15th.

At approximately 240 am, November 16th,  police received a 911 call from a residence on Joffre Street in Dartmouth. The complainant stated that her vehicle was in the process of being stolen. On November 16th,  at approximately 245 am, police observed the vehicle being driving on Portland Street near Penhorn Mall. When the driver and passenger observed police they jumped out of the vehicle, the vehicle remained in gear and crashed into a concrete wall. The two males suspects fled, one 18 year old male was apprehended in a foot chase by the patrol officer. K-9 and Patrol are continuing the search for the second male at this report time.
 
No one was injured in this incident.
