Thieves Take Off With Large Amount of Copper Wire From Construction Site

Halifax Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance in finding the person(s) responsible for the theft of a large amount of copper wire from a construction site in Halifax.  
Halifax Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance in finding the person(s) responsible for the theft of a large amount of copper wire from a construction site in Halifax.
 
On July 23, police were called to a construction site in the area of Washmill Lake Drive and Vitalia Court for a theft that happened overnight. Workers returning to the site in the morning discovered that a large amount of copper wire had been stolen from the site. The theft occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. on July 22 and, 7 a.m. on July 23.
 
The investigation is ongoing and investigators ask anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip – Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
