Thieves target equipment at Lower Sackville business

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a theft of equipment valued in excess of $12,000 from a business on Sackville Dr.

Sometime prior to last Friday thieves entered a fenced compound and stole the following items;

· Honda Sand Blower

· 2 Husquavarna Lawn Mowers

· Gas mini dumper (unknown make)

· Wood splitter (unknown make)

RCMP encourage business owners to take steps that will help prevent you from becoming a victim of property crime. Ensure your property is well-lit, fencing is secure and checked on a daily basis, and monitored by security cameras. Keep a list of equipment stored with documented serial numbers as this will assist with the recovery if stolen.
