Thousands of dollars in construction gear stolen

Halifax District RCMP responded to a complaint of a break-in at a construction site in Sheet Harbour on August 4 in the early morning hours. During the break-in, construction equipment worth several thousand dollars was stolen. Police have identified a person of interest in the case who was observed on video surveillance driving into the construction site in a red pickup truck, spending several hours inside the site destroying property and stealing equipment before leaving out of a nearby parking lot.If you think you’ve seen this truck, or if you have information on this incident, call Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020.
