Last evening around 930 pm Truro Police patrol officers responded to an assault in progress call at a residence on Victoria St. in Truro.

As a result of the investigation 3 people have been arrested. A 42 year old female, a 17 year old female and a 16 year old male. All from the Truro area.

A 23 year old male was taken to hospital as a result of the assault and later released.

The 3 arrested will face charges of break and enter, assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon (a rock).

The adult will appear in Truro Provincial Court while the youth will appear in Youth Court at a later date.
