At approximately 1:30 a.m. this morning, Halifax District RCMP responded to a vehicle on fire off of Cow Bay Rd.​Upon police arrival, it was determined the fire started as a result of a single vehicle collision.​ All three occupants of the vehicle died at the scene.​

RCMP Collision Analyst has been called in to assist with the investigation.​ The Cow Bay Rd at the intersection of Dyke Road was closed to traffic for several hours and have since been re-opened.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
