Chester RCMP have laid charges after an investigation into the rash vandalism incidents that occurred between Hubbards and Chester.

Sometime between the late hours of Saturday, December 26 and the early morning hours of Sunday, December 27, culprits smashed several windows and vandalized several properties and businesses ranging from Hubbards to Chester. Christmas decorations at the Chester Train Station were vandalized, and a Freightliner truck that was parked at the Hubbards Mall also had its windows smashed out.

After an investigation, three males were arrested and charged with numerous counts of Mischief. All three, who are aged 16, 17, and 18, are from Lunenberg County. They have been released from custody and will attend Bridgewater Provincial Court on April 27, 2016.
