Police have now charged three men in connection with the January 19 homicide of Derek Miles.
Investigators with the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged 30-year-old George Andrew Purvis of West Chezzetcook, 52-year-old Gregory Maxwell Purvis of Dartmouth and 26-year-old Murray Robert Timmons of Dartmouth with one count each of second degree murder in relation to the homicide of Derek Miles.
The two Purvis men were arrested yesterday and held in police custody. Timmons was arrested this morning at the Dartmouth Provincial Court house and is also charged with three counts of breaching court orders.
The three men are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today.
The investigation is ongoing and investigators continue to ask anyone with information about this incident, who have not yet spoken to police, to call 902-490-5020.
