RCMP release:
Annapolis County District RCMP is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Cornwallis Park.
June 22, shortly after midnight, RCMP officers, fire services, and EHS, responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Hwy. 1 near Passchendaele St. Investigators learned that a Ford Bronco was travelling east and an EHS ambulance was travelling west when they collided.
The lone occupant of the Bronco, a 30-year-old man from Cornwallis Park who was arrested at the scene for Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by EHS.
The three paramedics travelling in the ambulance suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Cornwallis man was later released. He is scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court to face criminal charges and summary offence tickets on September 8, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Hwy. 1 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
