At about 9:45 p.m., police responded to an armed robbery at the Tim Hortons at 200 Bedford Highway. The robbery occurred at a temporary trailer set up on the same property as the franchise’s main building, which is under renovation.
The robbery was committed by two male suspects. One suspect carried a handgun and led the robbery; the second suspect stood by the rear door while the robbery was completed.
The suspect carrying the gun is described as being in his 20’s, about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 with a slender build, an olive complexion and dark eyebrows. He was wearing a blue and red multicolored bandanna covering most of his face and a black-hooded shirt with the hood up.
The second suspect also wore a hooded shirt with the hood up.
